So I’m super sad I’m not really able to wear some of these trends how I would like to. Being this pregnant (7 months) just does not give me the option to pull the off lol. I’m sure I could make it work somehow but these days I’m not going to be looking all chic. BUT the show must go on! I still wanted to share these trends I’m loving for you gals that don’t got a bump going on lol.

So the first trend I’ve seen for Fall 2020 is chunky combat boots/lace up boots! Now this isn’t all that new but I’ve been loving the new chunky styles I’m seeing all over Instagram! I’m a big boots gal no matter what the season so this is right up my alley.

Next one up is “shackets” or shirt jackets lol. Big fan of these because there are so many ways to style them! I honestly think any style: girly, edgy, sporty, etc, could make a shacket work. Love how I’m seeing them styled for Fall though! Great layering piece if you live in colder weather areas!

Color stories!! Who doesn’t love a monochromatic look!? Even better with all the Fall tones: browns, nudes, deep greens. Somehow monochromatic looks always ALWAYS look sooooo chic to me. Even if it’s a loungewear set or casual look it looks 10x more chic just because its all the same colors/tones!

Ok so this one might not be for everyone but I gotta say I’m here for it lol. “Grandpa’s vest” aka the knitted vest/sweater vest. I think it is soooo cute and versatile. So many styles out there for this trend! You could go for a dress style look, cropped vest with high waist jeans, wear it with a skirt for a girly look! Possibilities people lol. I love it though and again I know it might not be for everyone but I think it’d be fun to play with!

Drawstrings are the new thing lol. Loveeee this trend on literally everything I’ve seen. From tops, dress and pants. It just works and I’m loving all the looks! My favorite is drawstring body con dresses and now that Fall is here I’m excited to see how people transition these into the new season. I can picture it with some chunky combat boots, tights, and a coat! sigh lol I wish I could wear coats but alas I live in Florida so I’ll admire everyone else’s.

These are just a few trends that I’m so excited to see in the Fall season! There are plenty of other trends out there that are amazing but for me and my style these are the ones that stand out. What is a fall trend you are loving or can’t wait to try?!
