March Beauty Favorites | 2017

by

March has come and gone! Time goes by so quickly! I got some new products last month and some were hits and others were misses. I love hearing everyone’s elses monthly favorites so I thought I’d share what I’ve been obsessing over!

Mia 2 Clarisonic – Ok so this isn’t new to me but I stopped using this months ago because I couldn’t find the charger to it lol. Well, I finally found it and have been using it every day! I forgot how much I loved this thing! I used it one day when I found the charger and the next day my face felt so incredible smooth!! It gets really deep into my pores and cleans out allllllllll of the dirt and yucky crap. I’ve seen a big change in my skin texture and just over all look since I started using this!

Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation – Full coverage + drugstore + matte = SOLD! I’ve been using it all month long and I have to say this is quickly replacing my Loreal Infallible Pro Matte foundation. The consistency is liquidy and really just gives you a flawless airbrushed finish! The matte finish is everything I want in a foundation. Especially for my oily skin. It’s not drying or cakey though and I think it’d look beautiful on all skin types. It also lasted me long time and really kept down my oiliness throughout the day.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette – If you don’t know or have this palette I just have one question for you… WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Lol no but seriously. Peach tones have been a huge thing in the beauty world and this palette is like the best palette for those peachy looks. You can go from soft to dramatic looks with it. The pigmentation is amazing!! In the matte shadows there is a littleeeee fall out but that doesn’t even matter to me. The palette is stunning, perfect for spring season!

Kat Von D Lock-It Setting Powder “Tanslucent” – I have been a DIE HARD Laura Mercier girl for what seems like forever now. I ran out of it at the end of February and picked this up instead to try out since it was getting a lot of hype. I love Kat Von D products because they are so full coverage and go great with my oily skin. Let me just say this is worth the hype! I don’t know if I can say this is better but I absolutely love it. It keeps me matte and my makeup lasts all day long with it. Its translucent so I don’t have to worry about it giving me a weird color. LOVE it. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a good powder!

Urban Decay De-Slick Complexion Primer – At first this did not work for me. I put it on and noticed lines where the primer was when I put my foundation on top. BUTTTTTT then I read it’s best when you warm it up by rubbing it in your hands and THEN applying it to your face. Now I can’t go a day without using it. It really helps with my oiliness and makes my pores look smaller. My makeup lasts ALOT longer when I have this under as a base. Worth the money!

Maybelline Big Shot Mascara – Ever since I saw MakeupShayla, Desi Perkins, Iluvsarahii, and pretty much every beauty influencer out there using this I knew I had to give it a whirl. The volume it gives your lashes is amazing and it doesn’t clump up at all. The price point is also just a big bonus. I don’t like buying high end mascara because let’s get real… It’s mascara. Lol. I have a couple but that’s it. This mascara is my favorite at the moment.

Perricone MD Chloro Plasma – So last month I got a facial at Sephora. I really went to look for some masks to help my skin problems. This lady went ahead and gave me a facial using some products I never considered before. Before my facial I was bare face but I looked rough lol. After my skin had a healthy glow and just looked so vibrant! She used this mask on me and I loved the effect it left on my skin! I have some pigmentation and acne scars and this has really helped reduce the scars and the coloring. My pores have gotten much smaller and my face feels softer after I use it. It’s quite a bit of money but it’s well worth it! You can always ask for a sample to try it too!

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer – This is the BEST concealer ever! Full coverage, no creasing, and really blendable! There’s really no surprise why everyone has been raving about it. It’s my holy grail concealer. I don’t know if any other concealer could top this one honestly. It’s on the higher end side but it’s not crazy expensive. It never fails me. Can’t say enough good things about it!

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Give Me Sun! – I used to have this a few years ago and stopped because I really didn’t know how to use a bronzer. I picked it up again because of Desi Perkins. Whenever I feel my foundation looks too light or dull I bronze my face with this. My face always comes to life when I use this and gives me a sun-kissed glow! It’s very warm tone and pigmented so a little is all you need!

Ofra Cosmetics Rodeo Drive & Blissful Highlighters – First Ofra products I’ve purchased and they did not disappoint. These were all over social media and I wanted them soooooo bad just could never hit the “Complete Order” button. I don’t know why lol. Finally purchased them and I’ve been using them all month long! They are super pigmented and give you a bright, in-your-face glow that I LOVEEEEEE! Rodeo Drive is a sun-kissed gold highlighter while Blissful is a beautiful pink gold highlighter! Both are stunning on the cheeks!

NYX Slim Lip Liner in “Natural”

By far my FAVORITE lip liner color ever. It’s the perfect nude, it matches my lip color perfectly! I use this with almost all my lipsticks no matter what shade it is. The NYX slim lip liners are my favorite drugstore lip liners ever. They are right up there with MAC cosmetics lip liners. The price is amazing and they have so many colors to match all you lipsticks!

That wraps up my March favorites! Hope y’all liked this type of post! I always like hearing everyone else monthly favorites so I wanted to start adding them to my blog!
